The objective of the workshop is to introduce the Food Safety Knowledge eXchange (FSKX) format and to promote its adoption by One Health professionals and modellers. FSKX supports the One Health community in its efforts to share and re-use mathematical models, as well as data analysis procedures. Efficient exchange of such knowledge across different One Health sectors (e.g. in risk assessment, hazard identification and control) is a key ingredient for transparent, multi-actor decision-making. Attendees will have the opportunity to become familiar with the FSKX format, the underlying knowledge exchange strategy and the different tools that already support this format. These include various online model repositories, open source software tools and an open-access, peer-reviewed journal supporting the publication and execution of FSKX formatted models. Participants will also be able to perform hands-on exercises with an online model repository where FSKX formatted models can easily be exchanged and executed with user-defined simulation settings.
